Finally....

Finally I have a new piece of work that I just finished.... It has been a very bad summer for my scrappyness!
So I made this for Club CK's Summer Camp that is going on now.
I used a whole ton of different papers that I have no idea what brand they are. Sorry wasn't paying attention. Alot of them were scraps...
So anyways here is my layout about the song "Moves like Jagger" and how it is the song that never ends in my head... Every since I heard it on the voice, it has been stuck in my head! Enjoy my misery!

Vibrant

(Sorry this picture is a little off kilter. Took the pic with my phone)

So this is a LO I made in the wee hours this am. I used Echo Park paper pack Summer Days. This collection is soooo freakin' cute! I love all the papers so much. They are so festive and bright!
Anyways, let me tell ya how I made this! I used a piece of golden Bazzill cardstock for the background. Then I took the BoBunny Mamarazzi paper that has that shape, traced around it on the back of the diamonds paper. Cut it out delicately and glued down. Next I used more bazzill cardstock in green, purple, and white. Cut out the sizes I needed and matted my pics. All the embellies used are from this line- chipboard stickers, regular stickers, and titles. I wanted the whole thing to pop a little bit more so I used Smooch bright pink and colored around the diamond sheet and placed little dots here and there. Wrote my journaling and all done!

Rainbow rememberance

Wow two entries to my blog within one week. Woohoo! Moving right along.

So this double page LO is my attempt on creative. I wanted to use up some little scraps I had soooo.... I took all the scraps that were at least 3x1 inches long and cut them to that length, I did that bc there is 24 inches divided by 8 colors equals 3 inches a piece. I did 12 pieces of each color starting with black, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, then brown. I placed them edge to edge covering the whole page of CS. Then I took white shimmery Bazzill CS and punched 2 inch circles. Then I cut those in fourths. I wrote on each little piece where the paper was used, or at least the ones I could remember. Then I placed the Thickers.

Good way to get rid of scraps and remember things you have given away and remember the faces of the people you gave the gift too!
TFL!

Multnomah Falls, OR

I absolutely love this LO! Tooting my own horn. I think I am getting pretty good at this stuff. LOL! JK! I think I have lost my mind!

I used bazzill cardstock as the background. I made a patchwork quilt look by using 2x2 pieces of paper (don't know the brand- sorry was in a kit). Then I triple matted the pictures, Added the fibers, flowers, and chipboard elements. Took black stickles to make the stitches. Then took yellow and icicles stickles to accent the chipboard. I used a silver gel pen to write around the quilt part. And that's all she, I mean I, wrote. LOL

Hope you like and TFL!

Best card

SO this is a card that I am going to send to my mom for her birthday. So I hope she doesn't look at my blog before then.
I personally love this card. The best I have ever made!
Anyways I used Creative imaginations South Seas paper as the background (double-sided). Then I stamped the background with all the stamps from Tim Holtz's set HABERDASHERY CMS105. Then I used a teal piece of scrap paper (sorry don't know the brand) and used the Tim Holtz's Sewing Room die with my vagabond die cutting machine. That thing was the best X-mas present I have ever gotten!! Anyways, I then took ribbon and wrapped it on like a skirt. Used another scrap piece of paper to make the shirt. Next, I took floss and wrapped it around the bobbin.
I finally used my new SewEasy design stitch runner. Then I took silver thread and stitched all around the two sides. That took alot of time but it was soooo worth it. I sewed on the fake paper button.
For the inside I needed to cover up my stitching so I decided to mat the inside. I used bazzill cardstock on both sides. Placed the words from Making Memories Sew.. on the front and Happy Birthday on the inside. And last but not least, I took Glossy accents to attach the hanger looking paper clips!
So this is my wonderful card. I hope you like and thanks for looking!

Lilith Fair 2010

So here is another LO. This one is from Lilith Fair last year in San Fran. It was so much fun.. Had a great time. The music was the best. The artists that I really wanted to see there were: Sarah McLaughlin, The Bangles, Colbie Callie, and Heart. I personally think Heart rocked out beyond what I could of ever imagined!!! LOVED IT!!! Dancing and singing and rocking out- What more can a girl ask for?

Anyways on this LO I used Bazzill cardstock- sparkly white with silver specks as the background. Then I used a whole bunch of my patterned paper scraps, making them equal on the one side so they were mirrored. Used chocolate and pink bazzill shimmery cardstock. Placed alot of the actually things from the festivities on the page ie: the buttons (took wire pliers and removed the backs of both), my vip wrist band, and the tickets.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Where, oh where...

Wow where does the time go. It's been two months since I put new stuff up. I should of made that one of my New Year's resolutions to post once a week. Well I guess I should start now....
So here is my first layout. It is a 12x12 single page layout. I did it with a collage feel. It is really busy.. So here it is...

I used a plain white shimmery bazzill cardstock paper and then spray inked it everywhere. Then I took a blue shiney paper and used that as my matting for all my pics. Then I went crazy with a million stickers, rub-on-s, and other misc things. Put my pics into place and that's all she wrote. Thanks for looking!

Baby love

So here is a layout that I did for a co-workers twins from her baby book I am making.
I used Teresa Collins baby girl patterned paper. For the background I used bazzill shimmery white cardstock.

The embellishments are all natural. Examples: those really are the ekg leads from the babies; thier little micro feeding tubes; the name bands for babies, mom and dad; and thier little at the bottom of the bassinet label thingys.

I used thickers for thier names.
